Welcome to my web site!

On this home page, I'll introduce myself and hopefully give you an idea of my history, philosophy, and horses. Check out my Ask Ann page!

I'm excited to welcome you to my website!

Most people know me from my training tips on the American Standardbred Adoption Program site or from my work as Arena Captain at the Northern Illinois Horse Fest.  Where I'm affectionately known as "the lady on the bicycle". I also contribute training advice in two different Yahoo! Groups: DiscoveringClassicalDressage and STBInfo.
I also support the Midwest Horse Welfare Foundation  and their work in rescuing horses.

I have been asked if a few of my Standardbred retraining articles could be reprinted in the USTA Standardbred Equine Program newsletter.  This newsletter  goes out to several hundred SEP members, and is printed 2-3 times per year.  So If you are in SEP you will see my articles soon.  If you are not a member of SEP then I strongly encourage you to join!  It is a wonderful organization.

We all want that seat of iron that allows us to think what we want to do and the horse does it. In that spirit, I have just added a new training service of daily Lunge lessons.  For those of you who have heard of the training "30-days to a better seat"... I'm now offering to help you do JUST THAT.  It doesn't matter if you ride Hunter/Jumper, western, rodeo or trail. even a week in the saddle doing nothing but perfecting your seat, leg and weight aids/cues will yield INCREDIBLE results.

On the My Horses page I will keep a diary of my training of each horse. So you can follow along with me through my journey with each horse. You can also ask me questions about why I did what and when through my Ask Ann page. My Ask Ann page will be updated with your questions often.

What do my students think of me?  Click here for references.

This is me and one of my personal horses, Proudest Guy. This picture was taken when we first started riding.
